We are creating public parking areas in densely populated neighborhoods, addressing a key concern for both residents and visitors. These facilities relieve traffic congestion, improve urban mobility, and contribute to a more functional city.

School Infrastructure

The Municipality focuses on strengthening educational infrastructure by renovating and maintaining school buildings and courtyards, ensuring safe and suitable environments for learning. Schoolyards can also become “cool islands” that offer relief from heat and improve the urban ecosystem through greenery, permeable surfaces, and rainwater collection systems.

New Municipal Daycare Centers

Thessaloniki’s municipal nurseries and daycare centers follow modern educational practices that support every child’s development. Carefully planned and safely designed spaces offer stimuli that foster children’s abilities and promote both individual and group learning.

We are enhancing Thessaloniki’s urban landscape by installing new public infrastructure in key areas of the city. We create spaces for rest, meetings, and social interaction, improving everyday life for residents. This includes courtyard upgrades, green enhancements, and volunteer clean-up initiatives that remove litter and graffiti. We also promote street art and murals as part of the city’s visual rejuvenation.

Tree Planting
