Renovation of the “Axios” Municipal Nursery School
The “Axios” Municipal Nursery School was the 17th and final facility to complete the Municipality of Thessaloniki’s nursery renovation programme. Through a donation from IKEA, the nursery was equipped with new furnishings and equipment, creating a modern, safe, and functional environment for children and staff. With the completion of this project, all Municipal Nursery Schools in Thessaloniki are now fully renovated and licensed, providing high-quality early childhood education facilities for families across the city.

The new nursery on Pier A was created in a fully renovated building and courtyard, fully funded by Alumil. The facility includes two toddler sections and one infant section, accommodating up to 46 children.
