Creation of the Thessaloniki Municipal Veterinary Clinic

The establishment of the new Municipal Veterinary Clinic of Thessaloniki, featuring fully equipped medical facilities and renovated infrastructure in the city center, was made possible thanks to a donation from Lidl Hellas. The clinic provides care and medical services for stray animals as well as companion animals belonging to citizens from vulnerable social groups. This initiative is part of the Municipality’s broader strategy to improve quality of life and strengthen social protection, while also promoting responsible and meaningful animal welfare.
Accessibility for People with Disabilities – Villa Mordoch

A foldable platform was installed to improve access for people with mobility difficulties at the 5th Municipal Community headquarters, located at the intersection of Vasilissis Olgas and Martiou streets.
Telemedicine Equipment for Home Visits
We enhance healthcare services with modern telemedicine equipment for home visits, facilitating health monitoring for vulnerable groups such as the elderly and people with mobility challenges. These services provide immediate access to care and connection with specialized health professionals.
Elderly Day Care Center of Thessaloniki

This center offers care services and social engagement opportunities for the elderly, promoting active living and recreation while contributing to their well-being.

We invite you, through the “I Participate in My City” program, to support initiatives that improve daily life and make Thessaloniki more sustainable, friendly, functional, and resilient.
